This year Victoria Watts has taken inspiration from her personal observations of the many faces of Italy. Gracious building lining the Grand Canal, the festive mood of costumed bandsmen in Florence, the rhythmic march of a Vatican Swiss Guard, the rustic charm of peaceful Umbrian countryside, canoes lazing on a sea-wall at Cinque Terre, and an ancient cisterna buried deep in a walled Tuscan town.

The multifaceted collection provides an absorbing mix of visual content, reflecting the diversity of modern Italian life liberally flavoured by its rick and colourful heritage.
